Athlete Profile- Mary Rodriguez

Age Group:
40-44

2011 Endurance goals:
Run the Space Coast Half Marathon in November.  Improve running speed.  Run consistently under 10 min miles.

Why did you choose this sport?
Not sure, I have always run just never this far for such a long period of time. Clark Endurance makes it fun!

Most enjoyable part of your sport?
When I reach a new goal.

Greatest accomplishment so far?
Having completed 4 half marathons in the past 2 years each one with a better time.

Favorite gadget?
My garmin watch.  I am all about the numbers!

Favorite post-race meal?
Haven't found one yet.  I usually feel so crappy after a race that nothing feels great.  That should be my goal, to enjoy the race and really enjoy the post race meal.

Dream race?

One where I finish and feel great!

Mary has accomplished some amazing goals over the past two years, and we are excited to see her continue to grow.... and maybe even shoot for that marathon!
